The Summit Avenue Reconstruction project includes reconstructing Summit Avenue, enclosing the existing storm sewer system, and constructing a sidewalk and shared use path from Nottinghill Court to Dooner Drive. This project was awarded to Keller Construction in the amount $2,218,364.26. The cost to the City is being offset by $1,300,000 from a Local Project Funding Grant from the State of Illinois, $794,000 from Federal Surface Transportation Program Grants.
