Thanks to the Collinsville Township, we offer free shredded leaf mulch—perfect for soil protection and weed suppression.

♻️ NEW! Expanded Composting Capacity

Funded by the Madison County Environmental Grant

Willoughby Farm now features an Aerated Static Pile (ASP) composting system, allowing us to compost more efficiently than ever.

Benefits include:

  • Larger capacity for community organics

  • Faster composting with improved airflow

  • Higher-quality compost (“black gold”) for local use


🥕 Resident Food Waste Drop-Off

In partnership with New Earth Farms

Bring your food scraps to the compost station located in the Willoughby Farm parking lot.

How it works:

  • Sign up with New Earth Farms to participate 

  • Drop off your food scraps

  • Receive FREE finished compost when it’s ready—perfect for gardens and landscaping

    Easy and rewarding for everyone—from apartments to acreages!
