Field Trips & Transportation

All camp sessions take place at the Collinsville Activity Center, unless otherwise noted. Collinsville Parks & Recreation will provide transportation to and from offsite locations and field trips.

🙋Parent Responsibilities:

Please contact camp staff if you need to drop off or pick up your camper during core camp hours (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
Field trip departure times will be included in the weekly email newsletter 📧.

Important Field Trip Notes:

🚨 Buses leave at the scheduled departure time. Buses will not wait.
🚨 If you miss the bus, you may drop off your camper directly at the field trip location.

🟡Camp Shirts:

For safety and easy identification, all campers and staff must wear their Camp Kahok shirt on outings.
If a camper does not have a shirt, a parent/guardian may purchase one at the Camp Office, or a shirt will be provided and the cost added to the child’s account.

🌩️Weather Policy:

Camp will make every effort to attend all scheduled field trips.
Please prepare your camper for all types of weather.
Parents will be notified via ePACT alerts for cancellations or major weather concerns only.
Ensure your phone number and email are up to date in your ePACT account.
