COLLINSVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT BECOMES FIRST IN STL AREA TO USE NEW ZOLL ZENIX CARDIAC MONITORS

The Collinsville Illinois Fire Department is proud to announce that they're the first Fire Department in the St. Louis region and among the first in Illinois to place new ZOLL EMS and Fire Zenix Cardiac Monitors into active service.

This milestone reflects the CFD's continued commitment to leading the way in pre-hospital emergency care and investing in technology that directly improves patient outcomes.

After extensive evaluation of available cardiac monitor platforms and careful consideration of long-term clinical needs, the Zoll Zenix was selected to replace the CFD's aging monitors and position the CFD at the forefront of modern EMS care. These monitors represent the next generation of cardiac monitoring and resuscitation technology and will serve the Collinsville community for many years to come.

Key features of the ZOLL Zenix include:
❤️ ADVANCED CARDIAC MONITORING & DIAGNOSTICS – Enhanced ECG quality and diagnostic capabilities that support earlier recognition of critical cardiac conditions.
❤️ INTEGRATED REAL-TIME DATA CAPTURE – Seamless collection and transmission of patient data to improve continuity of care from the field to the hospital.
❤️ IMPROVED USABILITY & INTERFACE – A modern, intuitive touchscreen design that allows providers to work efficiently under high-stress conditions.
❤️ NEXT-GENERATION DEFIBRILLATION TECHNOLOGY – Optimized energy delivery and feedback to support high-quality resuscitation efforts.
❤️ FUTURE-READY PLATFORM – Built to support evolving EMS protocols, software updates, and expanded capabilities over the monitor’s anticipated 10-year service life.

Putting the Zoll Zenix into service is just one example of how the Collinsville Fire Department continues to lead by example through thoughtful planning, investment in their personnel, and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of emergency medical care to Collinsville residents and visitors.

The Collinsville Fire Department is excited to be setting the standard in the region and will continue to pursue opportunities that strengthen the CFD and the Collinsville community.
