Fire Hydrant Flushing - City Wide

The Collinsville Fire Department will be conducting fire hydrant testing throughout the city. For a list of current locations you can visit the Fire Department's Facebook page If your water runs and is a brownish color, this is why. Please just let your water run until it runs clear. We encourage you to not do any white loads of laundry during this time.

CPR Classes

The Collinsville Fire Department offers American Heart Association CPR Classes on the first Wednesday of each month from 6-9 pm at Station One, 130 South Clinton Street.

These are "Heartsaver" classes and include infant, youth & adult CPR as well as an introduction to the AED (automated external defibrillator).  Please note that our classes do not include First Aid.  "BLS Provider" classes for Health Care Providers are available only as group classes as described below.

Cost: $25 per resident; $50 per non resident; payable in cash upon arrival the night of the class.

To Register: Send an email to  Include your name, email address, home address, phone number, and the date you'd like to register for.  You will receive an email confirmation with all class details.

Groups:  Group classes are available for Residents and local businesses / organizations only, in certain situations.  Minimum class size is 8. 

All BLS Provider classes must be scheduled separately, and must have at least 5 participants.  These classes are also limited to Residents and local businesses / organizations.
