Interested in testing the waters and seeing what it takes to become a lifeguard?

If so, this is the program for your 10-14 year old! Participants will receive instruction in water safety, public relations, facility operations, first aid, CPR and basic lifeguarding. Don't worry, lifeguarding is fun, too - free time will be scheduled in to each day's schedule!

Junior Guards will receive a lifeguard pack, whistle, visor, and shirt to wear as they shadow Collinsville Aqua Park Lifeguard staff for the entire week. Each participant must have a swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, and lunch for each day (microwave and fridge available for use).

This program will run rain or shine. If the pool closes early due to inclement weather, Junior Guards will focus on CPR and first aid practice, public relations, and they will get a deep dive behind the scenes into CAP planning and operations.

Participants who register for multiple sessions will only receive one lifeguard pack, whistle, visor, and shirt unless they pay the full price for each session.
