Collinsville Parks and Recreation is bringing something new to Woodland Park and your nervous system is going to thank you...on Friday July 31st join Dr MaKesha Harris Lee, EdD. Sacred Rest Coach, and Certified Sound Healing Facilitator for a one-hour community sound bath at the Round Barn Pavilion at Willoughby Farm.

A sound bath is exactly what it sounds like. You lie down, close your eyes, and let the resonant tones of singing bowls wash over you while Dr. Harris Lee guides you through breathwork and gentle rest practices. Research shows that sound healing supports stress reduction, nervous system regulation, and deeper relaxation, often in ways that the traditional exercise or meditation alone can't reach.

Whether you've never heard of sound healing or you've been wanting to try it, this is your entry point. No experience, no special clothing, no prior practice required. Just 60 minutes outside in the park, giving yourself permission to slow down.

What to bring: a yoga mat or blanket, pillow or cushion, water bottle, and comfortable clothing.

Space is limited to 30 participants per session

Session 2 at 7:00pm-8:00pm
