🌊 Junior Lifeguard Program🚨

Learn what it takes to be a lifeguard — and have a blast doing it!

Have a 10–14 year old who loves the water and wants to see what lifeguards really do? Our Junior Lifeguard Program lets kids test the waters, build confidence, and experience life behind the whistle at Collinsville Aqua Park!

Junior Guards will learn the basics of:

• Water safety 🛟

• First aid & CPR

• Public relations (yes, talking to guests!)

• Facility operations & behind-the-scenes planning

• Introductory lifeguarding skills

And don’t worry — this isn’t all work and no play! Each day includes scheduled free swim time, because lifeguarding should be fun too 😎

👕 Gear Up Like a Lifeguard

Participants will receive a Junior Lifeguard Pack, including:

• Lifeguard whistle

• Visor

• Program t-shirt

Junior Guards will wear their gear while shadowing Collinsville Aqua Park lifeguards all week, getting a real look at what the job is like.

☀️ What to Bring Each Day

• Swimsuit

• Sunscreen

• Sunglasses

• Lunch (microwave & fridge available)

🌧️ Rain or Shine

This program runs rain or shine! If the pool closes early due to weather, Junior Guards will switch to:

• CPR & first aid practice

• Public relations skills

• A behind-the-scenes deep dive into how CAP operates

📋 Program Details

• Ages: 10–14

• Minimum participants: 5

• Maximum participants: 15

👉 Participants registered for multiple sessions will receive one lifeguard pack unless the full program fee is paid for each session.
