Empty Bowl - March 6, 2019 - Gateway Center

Help Fill The Empty Bowls

The Collinsville Woman’s Club invites everyone to be part of Collinsville Empty Bowl 2019 – a very special fundraiser to combat local hunger.

The event will be held Ash Wednesday, March 6 (11a.m.- 2 p.m.), at the Gateway Convention Center, 1 Gateway Drive, Collinsville.

This is the seventh year for the event, and, with strong, community and area-wide support, it has raised thousands for the Collinsville Food Pantry.

For a $10 donation, guests can enjoy a smorgasbord of soups -- choosing their favorite or sampling them all. More than 30 soups (meat and meatless) are being donated by area restaurants and licensed vendors. Carry-outs will be available.

The event will also include an expanded silent auction, 50-50, and a special stage program including the Collinsville Jazz Band, special guests, and a performance by rising St. Louis-area talent Nick Richardson.

Tickets are available at the door, at local businesses, and from club members.

Donations may also be mailed (checks payable to the Collinsville Woman’s Club) to Collinsville Woman’s Club, Box 368, Collinsville, IL 62234.
