Empty Bowl 2018

Empty Bowl 2018

The Collinsville Woman's Club is pulling out all the stops for this year's Empty Bowl fundraiser, held on Wed., Feb. 14 (11 a.m. - 2:p.m.), at Gateway Center.

With strong, community-wide support, this unique fundraiser has raised thousands of dollars for the Collinsville Food Pantry and our folks in need.

For a $10 ticket, enjoy a simple soup meal, symbolizing the plight of the hungry. This year, you can select from more than forty meat and meatless soups donated by area restaurants, caterers, and licensed vendors. Choose your favorite, or taste as many as you like. Tasting cups are provided.

Carry-outs are available. NEW THIS YEAR, local offices and groups can enjoy their own Soup-tasting Party in-house! Select from all the soups, order/pay in advance, and enjoy the easy carry-out system. Spoons, tasting cups, etc., are provided free.

But this event is more than a soup bonanza. Attendees can sit back and enjoy the stage program with Derrick Keith Cox (MC), live music (including the award-winning Collinsville High School Jazz Band), a big Silent Auction, a visit from "Cupid," and lots more.

Monetary donations (any size) are appreciated with checks made payable to the Collinsville Woman's Club, P.O.Box 368, Collinsville, IL 62234.
