Founded in 1872, the mission of the Collinsville Fire Department is to promote a safe community by providing superior service to our citizens and visitors.  The Department accomplishes its mission through fire prevention and public fire safety education, fire suppression, rescue, hazard mitigation, and advanced life support services.

Each of the 30 firefighter/paramedics takes great pride in the level of service we are able to provide to our community.  Whether it’s a fire, medical emergency or providing educational information; being in a position to help people is certainly what we strive for.

From two stations, the Fire Department currently provides service to approximately 26,000 full-time residents and many thousands more visitors each year within the City limits and to the residents of our Fire District.  The Collinsville Fire Department responds to approximately 3300 incidents, each year, within our 26 square mile coverage area with two engines, one 75’ ladder truck, two ALS units and one command vehicle.

We are a committed, modern fire department that stands ready to immediately respond, assist and aid the public in any way possible.  We strive for our services to not only contribute to the safety of the public but also contribute to the stability of our City.
